Description

Mould is bad news. It doesn't look good and, in the case of black mould, can cause health problems and allergies in some people. How to remove mould is the question. The answer is Mould Stop Paint, a revolutionary fungicidal paint which prevents mould and mildew from growing for up to five years, including black mould. It is ideal for areas that are prone to dampness such as bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, laundry rooms and basements. And don't forget inside your cupboards too, as these are often prone to mould.

It is suitable for most surfaces except for bare metal. Mould Stop Paint is really easy to apply and doesn’t need to be primed unless you are painting over rust or heavily mould stained areas.

Mould Stop Paint is fully washable. Available in Bright White as a satin finish.

So, when someone asks you how you removed mould, you can tell them Mould Stop does the trick.

Trade Secrets

Before you paint on an anti fungal paint it is normally recommended that you use a mould killer spray. These are expensive and, unless you have a really bad mould problem, normally end up sitting in your shed because you've only used a little drop. You can kill mould and fungai just as effectively by taking a bucket of water and adding a good squirt of household bleach. Rub that into the mould with a cloth. When dry, paint on the Mould Stop and it's goodbye mould.

Preparation & Application
How to remove mould

Prepare It
Remove existing surface mould using sandpaper and make sure the area to be painted is free from flaking paint and dirt. Wash the area to be painted as you would with any paint and allow to dry.

Prime It
Unless the area to be painted has really heavy mould or rust then you won’t need to prime it. If you need to prime then we recommend Block It Stain Blocking Primer.

Apply It
Apply with a brush or roller. Shake/stir well before use and do not thin.

Full properties are developed in 7 days.
