Description
Old, grey stained and weathered tarmac can spoil the appearance of your property. This quick and easy refurbisher is applied by roller like a paint (and a brush for the edges) and will make your asphalt look like new.

Black It isn't a paint, it is actually a dressing that is absorbed by the asphalt. You should only use it on asphalt as that is what it is designed for. If you want to paint your drive then we recommend Drive Grip.

Black It Asphalt Refurbisher is a bitumen based product and over a period of years it will very gradually weather down to grey as all asphalt does. After you've first applied it though, and for many years after, it will give you a lovely black finish to your asphalt that will make it look like new.

Coverage: 5–10m² (53-107sg ft) per 5 litres (1 gallon). One coat normally sufficient.

Preparation & Application
Prepare It
Ensure that the surface is clean, dry and free from debris. Scrape off any moss that might show through. If the area is really mossy then you may need to pressure wash it first.

Repair It
Load up a roller with the mixture and you’re away. Don’t flood the surface with the dressing though as this will take longer to dry and may end up a bit patchy.

Use a paint brush on the edges and, as with the roller, don’t overload it.

Here's a good tip. If you find the surface is pitted then you can make your own mortar with Black It and dry sand. Firstly, prime the pits with the product and then trowel in the mortar you’ve made. It really is that simple.
